Please Note:
If you want to make sweets in small quantities, then you can prepare khoya with your hands. For preparing large quantities, you will need a khoya making machine.
Ingredients
- Milk Powder – 1 Cup
- Milk – ½ Cup
- Cream – ¼ Cup
- Desi Ghee – 2 tbsp
Follow these Instructions
- Take a Pan. Put some Ghee in it and allow it to melt.
- Add cream to it and let it cook until both the things are getting mixed properly
- Now add the milk and milk powder to the mixture and keep on stirring it continuously. Please make sure that no lumps are left.
- The mixture will begin to thicken after a while. Within 3 to 4 minutes, the thickened mixture will separate from the pan.
- The khoya will only be considered to be ready when it comes out to be a ball-like mixture.
- You can give it the desired shape when it is warm. Because once it’s cool down, it will get hard.
- After that, it’s completely your choice how you want to use it (whether grated or crumbled).
